Below is a list of questions that have arisen about this project.

• How do authors receive compensation for book sales?
  You sell your own books and keep the profit. My goal is not to sell the books but to direct buyers to authors.http://www.overcomingmediocrityteam.com/our-project/purchase/

• What marketing is DPWN doing or funding to promote sales?
  Although our goal is to provide the opportunity for our members to easily and afford-ably become authors, we recognize that the added exposure possible with a compilation book can be tremendous. We will be working with a PR firm to create awareness about this project which will be posted in the Project Update page when details are more defined.

• What happens to the proceeds/royalties from the book, are they distributed between the authors?
  I will be putting the book on amazon for exposure but usually these types of books do not get a large amount of sales on Amazon unless there is a very well-known author participating. In that case, there may be a royalty agreement with that author and DPWN Publishing. It is my understanding that Amazon does not warehouse a large quantity of self-published books (2-5) and that I will have to fulfill their inventory as needed. In that case, it would not make sense to split that profit between the 25 or so authors so we did not set that up in this project. (The administrative costs would probably exceed the profit.)I do however, plan to refer all sales back to the authors when I am contacted about sales.
